The duration of a hair colouring appointment can vary depending on the desired colour, hair length, and other factors. On average, a hair colouring appointment can take anywhere from 2-4 hours.

 Balayage lasts 3–6 months because the highlights are hand-painted and blended into the root, creating a soft, natural grow-out without harsh lines. Most clients refresh their toner and gloss every 8–12 weeks and redo their balayage lightening every 4–6 months to maintain brightness and dimension. 

 Lived-in color is a low-maintenance highlighting technique designed to look intentionally blended and natural at the root, so the color grows out seamlessly. This includes styles like root-smudge balayage, shadow roots, soft money pieces, and dimensional brunettes or blondes. • Use a purple or blue toning shampoo 1–2x a week
   
• Always apply a leave-in conditioner with heat protectant
   
• Stay on a hydration routine with masks like moisture or bond-repair treatments
